We have finally managed to shortlist some of our favourite shots from 2021 and boy was it hard!!! So many amazing weddings last year and far too many great shots to choose from - our initial shortlist was over 800 images.
We had weddings with only 5 guests allowed, weddings with no dancing allowed, weddings with dancing allowed but only outside, a wedding cake defrosting on the day of the wedding after spending 10 days in the freezer due to isolation, lots of steamy weddings (don’t worry - that was just through the view finders on our cameras steaming up because of our masks!), Domino’s pizza delivery for the wedding meal up Falkland Hill (a real highlight for Rachel), a groom arriving at a castle on horseback to pipes and drums, a bride riding to the chapel to get married and then standing upright on the back of her horse… Most importantly though, we were there capturing family and friends reactions after being reunited for the first time after lockdowns.
Thank you so much for all our 2021 couples who trusted us to capture their precious memories especially during all the uncertainty and craziness, we had an absolute blast! Roll on 2022!
