Lifetime Photography is a team of multi – award winning professional photographers and designers who strive in delivering beautiful, classic images that capture all the emotion of your special day.
Our well – established and buzzing High Street studio offers the complete specialised service and is now recognised as one of Scotland’s leading photographic studios. As previous winners of BIPP Scottish Wedding Photographer of the Year and most recently The VOWS Awards Scottish Wedding Photographer of the Year, we have the perfect balance between a high standard of work and quality of service. We are also fully qualified members of the BIPP and MPA and as such adhere to a professional code of conduct and have full public liability and indemnity insurances.
Every wedding day at Lifetime is unique. Our wedding packages are designed in a modular fashion so that couples can tailor a wedding package to suit them perfectly. Whether wind, rain, snow or shine - we've done it all.
ROB THOMSON
RACHEL GILLIES
Rob is a multi award winning photographer with over 18 years experience photographing weddings. His approach is relaxed and informal delivering images that are classic and captivating.
More importantly though, he ensures that the photographs he captures are natural and ooze the couple's personality and character. Through reportage photography and creatively lit photographs, Rob gets the right balance between capturing the 'wow' shots and artistic images that convey the atmosphere on your special day.
Rob is also a member of the BIPP (British Institute of Professional Photography). The BIPP is the official qualifying and governing body of professional photography in the UK and is internationally recognised as a professional qualification.
Rachel joined the Lifetime team after graduating in 2012 with a First Class Honours Design degree. During her time at University in Scotland and abroad, her passion for photography grew where she gained experience shooting studio, travel and portraiture.
Rachel has had ongoing intensive training since her arrival (which has included shadowing Rob and Ken on wedding days) and saw her shoot her first solo wedding in 2014.
With her design background, Rachel has a natural creative flair and Rob feels that she is one of Scotland’s most promising young photographers.
Rachel is also a member of the MPA (Master Photographers Association). The MPA is a professional qualifying body with the aim of raising the standard of professional photography.

Your coverage will begin 30 minutes before the ceremony and ends before the wedding breakfast/speeches.
Afterwards, you will receive an e-mail link to download your high resolution files.
*Excludes Fridays + Saturdays during the months of April, June, July, August, September, October and 24th December - 2nd January.
The Essentials package does not include a mini photography shoot before your wedding day but this can be added for £100 if required.
